Long Term Support is for trips that last more than a year.

Members and regular attenders of RVC (minimum one year) will have priority (Form Updated August 2024)

PLEASE NOTE: The Missions Committee meets the first week of each month. To ensure adequate time to process your request, please submit this form at least ten (10) weeks prior to your trip departure date. Requests received within a lesser timeframe may not be able to be processed.

Sending Organization *

CANDIDATE REVIEW

The Missions Team will evaluate your request in light of the following support criteria:
1) Members or regular attendees of RVC will have priority (attending at least 3 weeks per month, minimum one year).
2) Priority for support will be weighted based on Gospel access in your targeted region in this order: unreached-limited access-reached.
3) The number of already-supported mission partners in a certain region or organization may determine whether or not your candidacy will be considered at any given time.
4) Committed support will be based on RVC's fiscal year (May-April). Each year, support levels for all mission partners are reevaluated. Committed support levels are based on the planned church budget which is subject to the actual giving levels of the congregation throughout the year. Efforts will be made to protect our mission partners on the field in the face of any giving shortfall.
5) A periodic report to the RVC Missions Team is a requirement of support. Failure to report will be grounds for cancelling support.
If the Missions Team agrees that you are qualiﬁed, prepared, and funding is available, we will provide recommendation to the church Board of Elders for support. The elders will provide the ﬁnal decision for adding long-term mission partners.
NOTE: A personal interview may be requested by the Missions Team and/or by the Board of Elders.
